The FEAR: Hallucination of Mind

Fear is an emotion or a troublesome feeling caused when we are frightened or worried about something horrible or unpleasant event might have happen. In reality fear is only the illusion which expresses through our actions & behavior. Sometimes fear is the best motivator in life. Fear is the emotion which is vital to some ends but after certain limits it turns out as an obstacle in our life.
Different people are suffering from different fears. Fear of Society, Disappointment, Failure, Rejection, Loneliness, Commitment, Misery, Death, Pain, Loss, Height, Stage, Public, Water, Fire, Blood and thousands of others. But the most interesting thing about fear is only the byproduct of our own imaginary world. Fear is all about, “What’s gonna happen? What if I would fail? What people would think of me? What if I would die? If something terrible would happen then…?”
Fear is only the hallucination that only exist in our mind not in the real world. We all very are very much aware of such quotation which everyone advices: “It is only the imagination”, “If you want to be succeed in life you have to overcome your fears”, “Think positive, you can do it”. You might have heard similar kinds of motivational speech from your so called relatives, friends & parents.
In Reality things are quite different. It’s not child’s play. You know its imaginary but still you just can’t. Everyone faces it somewhere in their life.  But have you ever think why is it so? If we are absolutely aware about the things which are only imaginary, then what we are scared of? It is our mind which is controlling us to avoid it. Something inside our heart holds back us. We want to concentrate & do such things but fear don’t let us to do. “I know everything but I just can’t. Just leave me alone.” By saying this we simply avoid it. How simple it is right?
If you are scared of dogs, it’s may be you had an incident in past which was quite unpleasant. So because of that incident you are still stuck at that place in your mind that if I would go near a dog. It would bite me. So, to avoid that awful situation you have never tried to face it. Sometimes things are not as complicated as we are making it. Suppose you have a presentation in your college & it’s your first time when you are presenting something in front of your colleagues & professor. You would trembling & sweating & you wouldn’t speak properly when you face it first time. But eventually you would. But for that you have to go to stage & stand at least for once. The problem is we just cling to it. This is the tendency of human mind.
Meditation is the best key to overcome the fear & controlling mind. Definitely it takes time but eventually it will help at certainly. But before start anything to transcend it. Identify what actually the problem you are facing & what are you really scared of? What I personally believe is if you are scared of something then think about that thing twice in a day. Feel whatever fear you are facing, feel that anxiety, pain, anger or whatever negative feeling comes to your mind. But with that thousands of negative thoughts just try to think at least a single positive thought that, “Whatever happens, I will definitely do it. I am damn sure.”
In the beginning this process would be stressful & disturbing. But human mind has its own limits. You cannot just cry on a single thing every day. Humans always wants variety & different spices in life. So when you would cry out on your fears eventually it would be boring & you are used to it. It won’t make the big difference. But it doesn’t mean you have overcome you fear. If you are used to it then only last step will remain which is to try at least once. Just try to face. That single positive thought which you were everyday recalling, now it’s time to apply it. The only way to do it is to just do it. No therapist, psychologist or even god can help you unless you won’t decide.
If you’re scared of something like height, dogs, public, fire or anything then those anxious feelings are temporary for you. After some time, you’ll be normal. But if you feel the intense fear, panic attacks or anxiety which is insufferable then must inform your family & try to get any medical help because it may be phobia sometimes. Nothing is constant in this world neither any fear nor phobia. So just take a deep breath & while inhaling it just throw out every negativity in your life. Vanish everything & just free yourself.
“Nothing is persistent, Fear may be powerful but not extreme to defeat.”
